Studying Degree in Accounting in Malaysia

First City University offers a degree in accounting in Malaysia. By studying in this course, the students will be equipped with up-to-date knowledge and skills in accounting, auditing, taxation, and finance, which meet industry and professional standards.

  1. Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA, UK) grants our graduates FULL EXEMPTION from fundamental papers. Graduates only need to complete 4 more papers to obtain a full ACCA Qualification.
  2. Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA, UK) grants our graduates exemption from 7 papers for the CIMA Professional Qualification Examination.
  3. Chartered Institute of Marketing grants our students apply to be CIM Affiliate at discounted membership fee.

What is the duration of taking this course? 
It will be 3 years and 6 months. Students will have to undergo internships to gain hands-on experience as well. The intake month will be in June and September.
